Scrolling on Facebook and noticing Instagram’s latest announcement to pin Instagram posts got your heart beating fast? Same here!
The newest update from the platform is the opportunity to pin Instagram posts on top of the grid view. As Adam Mosseri expresses on its social media, Instagram is constantly working on enhancing users’ experience.
The concept of stories highlight applies to pin Instagram posts, too, although it will not work exactly the same way. Once someone visits your profile, they can see your top three posts and immediately obtain the information you want them to have.
The “Pin To Your Profile” option is available in many countries. If you’re not seeing the option to pin posts on your feed already, it’s just a matter of time.
Pinning specific feed posts lets you emphasize the content you want to announce to your profile visitors. For instance, if you’re a jewelry store online, you can pin Instagram posts that are most relevant to your audience.
You can pin posts that could be special offers, top three reviews, available discounts, or other significant aspects, like product displays or mentions as the best jewelry store online.
Instagram Support provides us with an easy-to-follow guide on how to pin up to 3 posts on top of your profile.
Once you’re logged in to your Instagram account, whether an Android mobile or iPhone, tap on your profile and select one of your posts. If you click in the top right, you’ll see the “Pin To Your Profile” option.
Pinned posts are not meant to be forever on top of your profile. You can easily remove them from the top of your profile anytime. When unpinning a post, it will return to its initial place in your profile grid.
To unpin a post, go to your profile, tap one of your posts, then tap in the top right to select unpin from your profile.
Instagram has been working on various updates to allow its users to customize and refresh their feed on the app.
From selecting what posts are essential to you, what’s appearing on your feed, and a potential edit grid view, IG is working intensively to surprise and facilitate its users’ lives on the app.
If you were thinking of creating a new Instagram profile from scratch because your current pictures were not in the right place aesthetically, Instagram is testing the possibilities of changing and editing your photos within your profile. So, stay tuned!
