how to add multiple photos to your instagram story

Instagram is a powerful tool where you can share your photos and videos in your feed and on Instagram stories. That’s what we are going to talk about: how to add multiple photos to Instagram story.

An Instagram story lasts 24 hours, and you get a wide audience that can interact with you through likes (heart icon) and replies (send message).

So, in this article, we will quickly show you how to add multiple photos to your Instagram story in three easy ways.

Let’s get started!

How To Add Multiple Photos To Your Instagram Story: 3 Main Ways

While reading this article, I suggest you grab your mobile phone, go to Instagram and follow these steps so you will learn better how to get started with Instagram stories.

So let’s start with the first way of adding multiple photos to your Instagram story.

The Collage Layout Method

To begin, open Instagram and tap the camera icon in the top left corner.

At the bottom, select layout. Now you can choose the grid layout you want to use. You can have two, three, four, or six images in your collage, depending on which grid you select.

Now it’s time to add pictures to the grid

You can snap a new photo by tapping the large circle at the bottom or upload one from your device by tapping the square in the bottom left corner.

The grid will be filled in order from left to right and top to bottom, so be mindful that the pictures have to be taken or added in that order.

If you want to delete the last image you took or added, tap the delete button.

When you’re done adding all your photos to the grid tap the checkmark at the bottom. Now you can add filters, stickers, text, and draw on your finished collage if you like.

When you’re done, go ahead and post it to your story. That’s all. Now keep reading for the next method.

Also, did you know that, whether it’s a Reel or an image-based post, with Publer you can tag People, Products, and even both at the same time while you’re scheduling. Here’s an article that better explains this must-have feature: Instagram Product Tagging & Other Improvements

The Layering Method

So the first thing to do is to tap the plus button on the right corner and select story.

Then you need to tap the create button. Next click on the button on the top, as illustrated in the picture below.

Click the image icon and from there you are just going to select your photo.

Now you can see how you got one of your photos.

Then you will do that again with another photo. So you repeat the same process for your next images.

Also, you can change the image size and shape by clicking on the image.

Now it is time to be creative. You can maybe draw on it something you like or play around with. Add more gifs and filters.
