How to Schedule and Post Directly To TikTok with Publer

Following the recent announcement about Instagram Stories direct posting through Publer, we are once again introducing an intuitive solution to help you schedule your TikTok videos and enhance your presence on the platform.

It’s important to note that implementing a well-designed scheduling strategy for TikTok offers several advantages. This includes the ability to develop a strategic approach and maintain consistency across all your social media channels. By planning ahead and scheduling your content, you can ensure a steady stream of posts, effectively engage your audience, and save valuable time.

If you haven’t yet adopted this approach, here are a few steps that might convince you to reconsider. With the introduction of this new feature, you now have access to a simplified process to follow.

Here’s How It Works

By following these simple steps you will be able to automatically post your TikTok videos via Publer:

Scheduling TikToks on the Web platform

1. To get started, log in to your Publer Workspace and choose your TikTok account.
2. Upload the video you want to use to the designated “Drop media” section.
3. Opt for the first option, “Post Automatically,” write a caption, and select your preferred privacy settings for the video.
4. Next, decide if you want users to be able to comment, duet, or stitch the video.
5. Lastly, schedule the video to be published at your desired time.

IMPORTANT: The New TikTok API changes allow Publer users to also write a TikTok caption on the description box, which was not supported previously. This means no more copy-pasting descriptions to post your TikToks!

Scheduling TikToks on the Publer App

• Make sure you have the latest Publer App version installed.
• Tap on the big plus button at the bottom bar.
• Select the TikTok account where you wish to schedule
• And then, just upload the media & follow the above-mentioned steps starting from no. 3.

Helpful tips:

• Keep in mind that you can’t post or schedule to multiple TikTok accounts simultaneously due to TikTok’s restriction on duplicate content.
• Before enabling Duet and Stitch options on Publer for each video, make sure you have activated them in your TikTok account settings.
• Please note that scheduling options such as Recurring and Recycle are not supported for TikTok due to limitations on duplicate content. If you attempt to use these options, you will encounter an error.
• Privacy choices and other options will be automatically synchronized from your TikTok account.

Get the Right TikTok Video Size

TikTok is an excellent platform for sharing your promotional videos. To ensure your content is published in the correct format, it’s recommended to use Canva or VistaCreate tools, which can be accessed directly from Publer.

In terms of dimensions and resolution, TikTok videos should be set to 1080 x 1920 pixels with an aspect ratio of 9:16, the standard size for most smartphones.

Note: Your videos must be 3 seconds up to 10 minutes long.

How to easily upload TikTok video content with Publer:

• Import videos from your Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or Unsplash.
• Create videos from scratch using Canva or VistaCreate, or easily share your designs from those platforms if you’ve already created your video.
• Simply drag and drop videos directly from your device for quick and convenient uploading.
